@DidierPeinke@So_somSo@DimaZeniuk This is partially untrue - the starship itself is 100tonne. We perform AHC lifts offshore in WA using the Skandi Hercules that weight more all the time (up to 250t).
Lift it onto a suitable deck barge and away you go.
@niccruzpatane SpaceX should really engineer or buy deck barge and use a vessel like the Skadi Hercules to lift it onto the barge. Not an unusual task, we do it all the time in oil and gas for heavy subsea infrastructure.
@elonmusk@SpaceX@gleesonjm Normand Ranger is a good vessel - we have used her before for offshore support. However, you're likely better off going with a Boskalis vessel in future that can lift the rocket out of the water.
