Proof of statement from mods (this is a screenshot before it was deleted, by the way).
Sorry, I rewrote it earlier because there is 1 wrong photo... :<
@Vega1w21 Hmm.. if it's websites, there's Anime GF.
For proxy, you can use (OpenRouter, KoboldAI, TogetherAI, DeepInfra, Anyscale), or other providers you can find on the chrome.
Just make sure not to use JLLM, because it has filters (not lying) and the devs statements can't be trusted.
@Pirat_Nation This is a bad idea, you know AI exactly...
AI can be manipulated, given false reports, etc. So, this is a bad idea for the future of Reddit.
@quantian1 This was back then (specifically 2023-2024).
If it's (2025 onwards) Janitorai is already packed with subscriptions, in-chat filters (definitely intended by the developers), and moderation.
If you know a website just like this, you know how it ends..
That's why I'm reminding you to consider looking for other websites (stop using janitorai).
However, if you still want to use janitorai - (you can use proxy on openrouter or etc.. as long as you don't buy janitor+).
@galvanizedbro Nah, this happens to a few people - because JLLM is still in the early stages before filters are rolled out to everyone.
I know because some people are getting hit by filters while chatting with bots, and even when writing prompts (the filters still pop up).
@LeyaBylinka Раньше было так же, но теперь фильтры и модерация портят всё.
В 2026 году всё кардинально изменилось.
И теперь там полно модерации, внутричатовых фильтров, подписок (конечно же, оно того не стоит) и прочего.
[additional] – Logically:
1. Why does the subscription exist, without any indication of removing it permanently.
2. Why does moderation still exist? – without any indication of removing moderation.
3. And so on.

Jai in 2026 is heavily downgraded compared to 2023.
@throwaway935312 You're right, fr...
Jai developers (shepp, hugo, iroh, and ceo jan) want to eliminate all of that for the sake of subscription money 💸
@_Its_benny Yeah... because JAI now has (moderation, chat filters, ads, and subscriptions) by default.
That's why the community is looking for websites without all of those, or any of them.
@KhaosCreator Loving bad changes? Nah...
You've never heard of moderation, chat filters, subscriptions, and so on that restrict the community, right?
The developers are trying to reduce free features, and reduce freedom."
@Yanc3e Hi, Janitorai and CAI both have moderation, you know?
But the difference is, Janitorai is worse than CAI.
Janitorai adds a subscription (its free features are locked to janitor+), more aggressive moderation, limits (personas, proxy), and don't forget chat filters.
@henryletham4 Welp, you're right.
Developers no longer care about feedback & criticism from the community – The proof is right there:
1. Why was subscription introduced?
2. Why are moderation & filters in chat implemented without announcement.
3. Why are the basic features into janitor+?
