When I tell my residents (the ones who didn’t know me as a CNA bcus they are newer patients) I’ve only been a nurse for TWO months, they don’t believe me!!! I literally have to tell them my exact date I took my NCLEX and my first day 😂 i always get told that I’m good nurse 🥹🥹

Things I’m not doing as a new grad nurse: getting a car note!! I actually just got out of one like 6 months ago! I’m actually buying a CASH car (bcus if yall don’t know my last like 9 months of school I had no car because my engine blew on my truck 1K before it was paid off!

And thinking I got my truck with “nurse money” when I haven’t even gotten my first nurse check is crazy!! This my second Lexus too! They’re really good vehicles. My first one never had any issues! Just oil changes!

Nursing is life changing! Just get through school, school IS the hard part .

But don’t go into nursing just for the $$$. Because nursing is much more than passing some meds, and checking vitals, doing injections etc.
