@Jaykae10 Excited to see you in brum in April.. if you ever fancy visiting a school in brum (cardinal wiseman in kingstanding) to have a little chat with the kids in my music department we’d love to host you 👀 🤍
@CostaCoffee I take my little boy (aged 3) to Costa before nursery every Friday morning at the fort in birmingham, the staff there are so lovely and happy, they always have fundraising things that he can have a go at, books for sale etc, they’re brilliant! The two men are fab
Describing the arts as an outlet for ‘less academic students’ is patronising. Suggesting disadvantaged children can’t handle academic rigour is even worse!
EVERY child deserves a well taught, ambitious curriculum that improves their life chances. This is just low expectations!
@AskPayPal I can’t get into my PayPal account as it’s linked to my old mobile number - all options are sending messages, WhatsApps or calls to the old number to recover account?
Secured £20,000 worth of funding for the music department (thank you @StuartBirnie1 for the heads up with this!!) and received an award from our local care home for community work.. not a bad way to end the year and start maternity leave! 😃
I would never disregard my ability to read the staff. It's an incredibly important skill to learn for any musician.
