Connecting Gusau International Airport with Reliable Internet Connectivity
Today, we were at the Gusau International Airport as part of the preparations for the commencement of commercial operations on October 1st, conducting an assessment of the facility ahead of the immediate deployment of reliable and uninterrupted internet connectivity.
At ZITDA, our responsibility goes beyond simply providing internet access. We are building the digital infrastructure that enables modern government, seamless public services and a connected Zamfara.
The airport deployment will provide connectivity across critical areas, including the domestic and international departure and arrival terminals, protocol and VIP lounges, control tower, fire station and other operational facilities.
Passengers will also enjoy free internet access, ensuring that connectivity is part of their experience from the moment they arrive at the airport.
This initiative is part of the broader digital infrastructure expansion programme of the Zamfara State Government, driven by His Excellency, Governor Dauda Lawal, and his vision of transforming Zamfara into a more digitally enabled, efficient and connected State.
The first phase of this expansion has already been completed, covering:
• Government House
• JB Yakubu Secretariat Complex
• State House of Assembly Complex
• State High Court Complex
• Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital
• Collage of Nursing Sciences, Gusau
• Zamfara Internal Revenue Service
As we prepare to welcome commercial flights to Gusau International Airport, we are equally preparing the digital infrastructure required to support a modern airport.
#WeMeanBusiness💪🏻
I spent 47 days as one of several thousand African migrants seeking to enter Europe through the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea.
Story on @fijnigeria tomorrow, Thursday and on Friday.
What I’ve realised navigating life is that a lot of people are not actually happy, they’re just scared.
Scared they won’t find a better relationship. Scared they won’t find a better job. Scared they won’t find a better life.
I’ve left jobs people thought I was mad to leave. I’ve left relationships people thought I should be grateful to have. Every single time, I found better.
There is almost always something better on the other side of courage. Stop worshipping what you’re scared to lose. 😘
Who is deceiving these agents in Ilorin? I don’t have an issue with the prices, but please let me get my money’s worth. The price can be high, but the infrastructure and value should match. Some places, you hear the price and expct Dubai, only to meet potholes & poor access roads
He breaths heavily. To everyone single one of you, thank you so much. You all gave him hope again.

We still more help please 🙏 we have a little over a million, and 8M is what is needed.
@HauwaAllahbura I respect everybody’s choices o, but two men passionately making out? Abeg, that one is still very far outside my comfort zone. 😂
I’ll happily let everyone live their lives, but please, let it be somewhere far away from my personal space.
If this thing enters Facebook, wahala go dey. Nigerians will run with it before anyone checks the science. We’ve seen this movie before during COVID, bathing with salt, and all those WhatsApp medical discoveries.
I don’t know if it’s underestimating people, because I genuinely try not to. But I’ve always had a strong ability to discern intelligence through conversation. The way someone thinks, reasons and articulates themselves tells me a lot. I can even spot inauthenticity.
