You bought GTA5 in 2013 for $60
You bought every Madden, 2k, CoD, Battlefield, skins since then for $60/70 per year.
So you won’t spend $100 on GTA6 but you’ll spend $780-910 on recycled games.
None of you can critically think. Fries in the bag and shut up.
@deltasyn@spazzdotwav@GameRoll_@TanukisInSpace The game is getting bought regardless by the overwhelming majority of players. There is a ZERO chance that any of this backlash means anything in 5 months. Yall fighting an unwinnable battle that should’ve started with Mario Kart World.
My take on the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition is that pretending to be mad about a couple vehicles and cosmetics in a deluxe edition is peak performative outrage.
This is a standard thing in almost every game coming out, Cosmetics & bonus side activity for deluxe editions is normal and was even in Red Dead 2.
What I DO find problematic is locking actual stores and modshops, this just feels like a super odd way to approach how these bonuses work, I’d much prefer if these locations were still accessible and only the exclusive items weren’t sold there if you don’t own the Ultimate Edition. Its going to be weird to walk up to these stores and have them just be locked because you don’t own the right edition.
@caaammiiee@noahalyx Maybe the BIG budget games like Witcher and such but the vast majority of games will probably stay below. But tbh with ultimate editions and MTX most people spending over $70 anyway. It’s not really a big deal
