BASE NETWORK PREDICTIONS PLATFORM RAISES $3M PRE-SEED ROUND

- ‘Limitless’, a new entrant to the blockchain predictions market sector, has announced the close of its pre-seed round, to the tune of $3 million, according to a report from CoinDesk.

- The round was led by high-caliber VC fund, @1confirmation, and saw investment from the likes of @Papervc, @publicworksfm, and @ColliderVC.

- The project is building on @Coinbase’s Ethereum L2 network, @Base, and it has just an eight-person team according to the project's CEO.

- Limitless has been in development for just six months, according to CoinDesk’s report.

- Limitless sets itself apart by offering markets with rapid expiration timelines.

"People love the daily markets because they don't have to lock up their money for a long period of time to get some mediocre returns”

… said Limitless CEO, CJ Hetherington, to CoinDesk.

"The average trader we have on the platform right now is spending around four hours per week… So the retention is really, really high. I mean, like 38% of users that come on the first day come after the seventh day”

- Limitless further offers markets generated by the platform’s users themselves.

- While only certain high-profile accounts can suggest markets, if those markets are approved, they stand to earn rewards therein.

“A lot of the most popular markets on our platform were not created by us”, said Hetherington.
