@BoMiCle1@FeastOfBeast @SenatorSinema So intended by the market, which exists as an exploitative model. Got it. Min wage doesn't only apply to min skill jobs, that's the problem.
@BoMiCle1@FeastOfBeast @SenatorSinema And you're fine with a system that needs poor people to function. Companies raise prices to continue raking in record profits, but that's not the problem, it's the livable wage that's the cause.. What a joke.
@Bluecaribe2@ShooterMcmuffin@RightsWrongUSA High prices are worldwide, due to the worldwide supply chain issues. I live on the southern border and the panic about it is a complete farce. Trump initiated the pull out of Afghanistan. I'd rather the short pains of this than a Christo fascist con artist.
@Bluecaribe2@ShooterMcmuffin@RightsWrongUSA More to the point though, I don't doubt that Biden is shady. In this country though we don't get the opportunity to vote for good people. We get to choose between two poisons, and Biden was the lesser death.
@Bluecaribe2@ShooterMcmuffin@RightsWrongUSA Well I'd like a source to understand that better. In principal it sounds bad, but at the same time I don't think congress should be able just look at bank information without a warrant.
@Bluecaribe2@ShooterMcmuffin@RightsWrongUSA At least base your criticisms on truth. Biden admin proposed legislation which would require banks to report to the irs accounts with more than 600 in debits/deposits, but dropped it after Republicans complained.
@STackmont@connerwilliamsx@BostonOnMyMind4@abc15 You can though. My point is, you record an officer from more than 8 feet, they believe it's less than 8 feet, so they tell you to stop, when you don't, they move within the 8ft distance, you're not breaking the law because you're the one being questioned?
@STackmont@connerwilliamsx@BostonOnMyMind4@abc15 It is really basic, which of course means it will be rife for abuse. Police will interpret this as authority to tell people not to record them. If you're being questioned because they believe you're recording within 8 feet, do you then get to record? It's a shit law.
@meganateholmes @abc15 They're also just as likely to be used to document bad behavior by others. If there was no video of the cop kneeling on the neck of George Floyd do you honestly think he would have been found accountable?
@STackmont@connerwilliamsx@BostonOnMyMind4@abc15 What do you suppose the abuse rate by police misinterpreting this law will be? If I'm 9 feet away do you think they're going to break out a measuring tape? If they move closer to me do I have to move further away? Am I then evading the police if I do?
