There’s a small note attached to the pillow.
Saying: ‘Pull yourself together and stop doing this. Want to hit your head agains something, here’s a pillow.’

[⟨ SHEN ⊙ LIU ⟩ @yatowarehiro]

Stops hitting his head for a second and inspects the pillow.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Throwing a pillow at the side of his head.

[⟨ SHEN ⊙ LIU ⟩ @yatowarehiro]

"Stupid, stupid, stupid.", starts hitting his head against a rock.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

From the shadows she’s still here.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

What if she just didn’t show up?

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

She told him not to look for her!

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Safety.

Luckily she got the family pack this time.

[⟨ SHEN ⊙ LIU ⟩ @yatowarehiro]

Why not ?

Well he's too busy eating cookies to try again right now.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

@__VAEN ➪ · The threat probably happened once, but in the past? I feel like it’s something she could have done

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

He probably can, but Wen isn’t letting him try.

[⟨ SHEN ⊙ LIU ⟩ @yatowarehiro]

But- But he wants to see if he can do it too.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Perfect. Now to make sure he doesn’t persist.

[⟨ SHEN ⊙ LIU ⟩ @yatowarehiro]

Sees the Oreos and walks over to those instead.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Wouldn’t he like to.

Throws oreos away from the window as a distraction. But also in secret.

[⟨ SHEN ⊙ LIU ⟩ @yatowarehiro]

Shall do a backflip out of a window like Ibara !

Slowly, but surely, Wenling would embrace her brother in return. Then, like the times she was little, just let out her emotions.

Perhaps it’s just the loss of someone close that put her on edge. After all, Shizue and Wen’s side of the family actually had duties. Just, Wenling-

[𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙯𝙪𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙪 @StreamsOfLiu]

“Wenling, listen. You don’t /have/ to do anything. You’re not a failure. I don’t know who got that in your head, but you need to realize that you didn’t do anything wrong. Shit happens.”

He’s still hugging her, patting her on the head.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Shang shouldn’t be getting out of bed

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

“ If what you say is true... then is only the others I failed... Grandfather, Jun, Shang... One is dead the others are hospitalized and I wasn’t there to do anything. The one thing I’m supposed to do is protect them and look at me.. I’m not in their place. “

She argued.

[𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙯𝙪𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙪 @StreamsOfLiu]

A little sigh, as he moves to embrace his sister.

“You haven’t failed me, Wenling. And I doubt you failed anyone else. You may have been doing hero training, but you’re probably one of the only few I can truly tolerate. Don’t put yourself down.”

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

“ Upon failing a simple task, more than one time with high severities... I deemed myself no longer worthy of such work... I...I’m sorry Shizue...in a way I have failed you too... “

Wen’s head begun to hang in her empty hands. Words even trembled a bit.

[𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙯𝙪𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙪 @StreamsOfLiu]

“Been a while. Aren’t you supposed to be doing hero stuff?”

He’s not getting closer, arms crossed with a tilted head.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Hearing the voice of her brother, Wenling froze a bit. Only turning her head to him a small bit.

“ ..Shizue.. “

Could she even face him?

[𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙯𝙪𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙪 @StreamsOfLiu]

Mhm.
But regardless, he’s behind her by this point.

“Wenling.”

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Even the dark is limited, but there isn’t much to argue there.

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Fair, if anything the sight of her brother might prove to be more reassuring. Though..how to tell him that she would no longer be in the hero course?

[𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐮 ۰ 𖥸 @__DearWarden]

Well his usually stone faced sister is sort of in an emotional state. If anything he’s about to se something he hasn’t seen in a very long time.
