We need justice for my friend Ashlee Jenae who was found dead in her hotel in Tanzania and her fiance Joe McCann claims she hung herself. Anyone who knows Ash knows she would NEVER commit suicide. We need answers now!
This strategy sounds smart, but It is a high-risk, high-reward approach that works only under specific conditions.
What is actually smart about it:
• Investing early can outperform real estate if markets do well
• Renting can be cheaper in some cities
• Using assets (stocks) as collateral = access to lower interest loans
What is risky (and often ignored):
• Market risk – stocks don't guarantee returns in 10 years
• Sequence risk – if markets crash when you need money → you are stuck
• Margin/portfolio loans – if stock value drops, lender can force liquidation
• Interest accrues – pay anytime does not mean free money
• No diversification – you are tying your house to market performance
Big myth to correct:
> Bank holds the deed
Not really. You own the house. The bank has a lien, not ownership.
Who this works for:
• High income + strong investing discipline
• Long time horizon + risk tolerance
• Already financially stable
Who should NOT do this:
• First-time buyers with limited savings
• People uncomfortable with market volatility
• Anyone relying on guaranteed returns
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
I think one of the biggest lessons I learned this year is that peace is something you build. It doesn’t just show up. You create it by letting go, setting boundaries, and refusing to carry what isn’t yours.
How embarrassing @Shopify has been down all morning on literally the biggest sales day of the year for online shops, specifically SMALL BUSINESSES. They should refund EVERYONES fees this month. 🤦♀️
