Still thinking on this, it’s such a contrast now from day 1. Metamorphous on a grand scale; from colour to the absence of colour, from physical to digital.

Today the burning of the physical artwork for #TheCurrency project comes to an end. The decision to burn or not was down to the holders, @hirst_official gave everyone the choice. I see this process as creation rather than destruction, long live the #nft & @HENI #NFTCommunity 🙌

Happy Birthday #FrancisBacon, born #onthisday in 1909.

Bacon worked in a claustrophobic studio that was piled high with memorabilia & clutter. In his art, he contained his figures in similarly compressed spaces to intensify the emotional impact.
