Imagine having this many gun incidents near the President (staged or not), and believing a $1 billion ballroom is the solution instead of gun regulation and mental health programs.
@gov_fails@Waymeson I made $29k at my first job in 1998, and the rent on my 900sf apartment, which I shared with my boyfriend, was $850. That’s the equivalent of $60k and $1800 now.
@SeanMcCarthyCom Lunch does cost $28 now. But also, when I was in my 20s, I brought a frozen meal for lunch every day, or I had a fast food meal deal. I rarely ate out for lunch.
Besides, if all Gen Z wants to do is WFH, why are they out buying $28 lunches? Just make something at home.
@Zarish5062 I empty my 30ml (2T) menstrual cup 2-3 times a day for at least 4 days. It’s not always full, but it’s at least half full each time, and totally full for two days. There’s no way it’s that little.
@1ssve I like separating my home and work lives, and I enjoy engaging with my team in person instead of staring at everyone on a screen. The 2/3 hybrid has been a good solution for me.
@MatrixMysteries Oh no! How awful that a private non-profit elects to give an educational experience to poor families free of charge! What kind of world are we living in!? 🙄
