You can take a principled position in support of the ceasefire, and you can also take an equally principled position against the actors involved, given their backgrounds, intentions, and history.

Just because the illegitimate Pakistani military regime happens to be actively involved in the peace process, neither washes away its tyrannical and criminal rule at home, nor gives it sudden legitimacy or mandate to rule.

Supporting peace process doesn't mean you have to support, cheer or whitewash the regime's brutal and tyrannical record at home.

I know learning from history isn't our forte, but it appears we also suffer from short-term memory loss.

We have been here before, so many times, even until very recently.

In Aug 2021, Pakistan helped the US end its 20 years long Afghan war. The Foreign Ministers from entire European nations flocked to Pakistan for help and support. Pakistan delivered. There was a feeling of so much winning and cheering, until reality hit hard.

Starting October 2001, Pakistan was the front line state against the War on Terror. Bush called Gen Musharraf his personal friend. But no other country paid so dearly, than Pakistan. It's on record. Yet the world moved, and Pakistan still suffers from terrorism.

Wait, there is more..

Pakistan played the single greatest role to end the Cold War, and helped the US win and become the sole superpower by running a Jihad against Soviet Union. In fact, a piece of Berlin Wall was gifted to a Pakistani soldier that made it happen. But right after, Pakistan got Pressler Amendments as a gift.

Pakistan also played the most critical role by opening up US-China relations in 1971 by hosting Kissinger in Islamabad, and his secret trip to China. A few months later, Pakistan collapsed as a country, and saw the creation of Bangladesh.

You know what's common between all these events? A military dictator, heightened geopolitical role, and tyranny at home.

You don't need a fortune teller to predict the outcome of this latest round. You just need to look at the history.

And before you comment that "it is different" the time; even that is not new. Literally every single dictator felt and said the same.

If tonight's presser of NETANYAHU doesn't open the eyes of the Muslim world & to stood by IRAN, then it is doomed to perish in its own ignorance. The crux of his address was & I am quoting him directly;

1) Extreme Islam, both Shia & Sunni, is a threat to the world and it needs to be solved. We continue to strike our enemies over & over again.

2) I am creating the right conditions for the Messiah (Dajjal) to come while Israel transforms into a superpower (Greater Israel). We will make it to the return of the Messiah (Dajjal) for Israel.

3) I promised that we would change the entire Middle East in terms of enemies & friends.

4) We eliminated the old tyrant (Ayatollah Khamenei) & the new tyrant (Mujtaba Khamenei), the new puppet of the Revolutionary Guards, cannot show his face in public.

PS: Both the US & Israel aren't fighting just IRAN, but Islam. Israel with the US's help is taking this war to a whole new level (Armaghaddon), with the ultimate goal of defeating Islam & capturing the entire Middle East. So, the war on IRAN isn't going to be the last one. If Iran loses, the next targets will surely be Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Qatar, Syria & even Pakistan & so on.

At 1:30 AM IST, when NETANYAHU-led Israel was talking about creating favorable conditions for the Messiah (Dajjal) of Israel, KHAMENEI-led Iran was launching missiles while reciting verse 97:2 of the Quran— "And what will make you know what the Night of Power (Shab-e-Qadr) is?"

In a nutshell, Muslim countries in general & Middle Eastern countries in particular, need to understand that NETANYAHU & KHAMENEI are fighting this war for ideological reasons, while TRUMP is fighting for market reasons - to rule the world economy. So the decisions you take today will determine your future tomorrow, in context of both religious identity, security & sovereignty
