I am tweeting this to complain on behalf of the @SteersSA and @fishaways staff. The Princess Crossing Branch at Ontdekkers Road, Roodepoort.
To management, Hi. Your branches are COLD! To say they are cold is an understatement. It's literally freezing and colder than the weather outside! We (customers) were told that apparently the AC isn't allowed to be switched off. It was so cold that we couldn't stand the coldness of the shop for that 15 minutes of us waiting for our orders, now imagine the staff members who have to endure that for an entire shift. How are they supposed to function or survive in such a cold environment, especially during this cold winter??
Please amend whatever rule you guys placed and allow staff members to turn the heater on. They, too, deserve dignity and comfort.
Thank you.
Crazy how sex offenders registry is still not public. It was supposed to be made public on the 28th of February 2026. 1 year and 3 months later and ✨Nothing✨
@mbathambali493@Robyn32_@lazyorlaylah@thecultureecon do your research mama. i can not mention names, i could be putting my job at jeopardy. i'm in the nursing profession. research which private institutions actually offer midwifery as a course? it's the public ones cause they don't reach the quota for natural births at pvt.
@mbathambali493@Robyn32_@lazyorlaylah@thecultureecon hence, i mentioned you are an outlier and kudos to your dr, but the fact remains that lots of drs push for c-section in pvt. when a very big medical brand can not offer midwifery in their training, it's a direct correlation of the no. of natural births in their hospitals.
@mbathambali493@Robyn32_@lazyorlaylah@thecultureecon you guys are the outliers, but some drs are definitely pushing for c-section, probably due to monetary benefits. these are not always emergencies. and as a first-time mom, if a dr scares you with info, your first instinct is to think about baby and follow instructions
@mbathambali493@Robyn32_@lazyorlaylah@thecultureecon there are definitely people who gave natural birth at pvt but the rate at which c-sections is pushed is quite high. there are some pvt hospitals that don't qualify to offer midwifery training as they don't meet the quota of natural births to be accredited to offer the course
Eyy guys the chat here is that women are the ones who suffer the most in these situations. men don't.
They get to go back to their families and live like nothing happened.
Wena you stuck with a child that nobody wants to welcome.
Why would you want that for yourself?
