Come on now...really? If you're looking here, you probably are just looking for something for a personal insult because you can't support your argument...
@real_unkilted @KyleClark We did, with lessons learned. Hopefully there will never be a next time, but if so, we will better know the consequences of actions.
@LoraThomasCO@douglascountyco@alamosacitizen DougCo should stop wreakless development. About time to impose a 2% growth rule. We don't have the water or roads to support. Not to mention most of us live here because we like some amount of wildlife....not endless neighborhoods we can't support.
@SaveDougCo Anyone who lives in an HOA that waters landscaping, is not allowed to complain about water availability or droughts, as you are part of the problem. Also... Stop developing DougCo... We are out of resources and infrastructure.
@Similitude2017 I know many wonderful people born in other countries. None of them came here illegally, expecting asylum or citizenship. If you were to try this tactic in any other country, you'd be in jail pretty quick. It's not about the people, its about the law.
My two cents.
22,000 people in Colorado had their thermostats locked by their utility company in 90 degree weather due to an 'energy emergency.'
People will read stories like this, still want a refrigerator that connects to the internet, and somehow believe our grid is ready for 100% EVs.
@DcsDmom How could this be a BoE problem if we're still lower than the state average? And if rates were higher in 2017, why was that not also the boe's issue then?
@DougCoMom And in reference to Bible (for some reason brought in here) forgiveness of sin and forgiveness of debt are not the same things, just the same word. Taking something with the promise to repay and not repaying is stealing. You could say you're asking for forgiveness for stealing.
@DougCoMom People with student loans are not in that situation by circumstance. They are in that situation by choice. They chose to take out the loan, and agreed to pay it back. I paid back my loan, what is the rationale for my tax money paying back others loans making up to 125k.
@EileenW5280mama @DougCOProtect The educational equity policy is in place currently, and (demonstraitedly) didn't prevent this aweful act. They are opposed to the way the policy is written, not what it's intent is. Those are very different.
