“No options left” is often just exhaustion talking. When we’re tired, disappointed, or stuck, it’s easy to give up. But the next possibility appears only after we take a breath, ask for help, change the angle, or try the thing that feels too simple to matter.
If you offer me a sincere apology and change your behavior, I'll never bring up our past issues again. But if no apology was given and you're still repeating mistakes, you can't ask me to stop mentioning the past. The past is actually the present if you haven't changed.
The Celtics Are Going To Be Trying Something Completely Different With How They Play. Per, @WindhorstESPN
“The Celtics are trying a new way of doing things, it’s not just gonna be Jayson Tatum, they’re gonna rely on Payton Prichard, they’re gonna rely on Baylor Scheierman, they’re gonna rely on Hugo Gonzalez.”
Tatum on his relationship with Jaylen:
“The expectations were so high, they had to figure out a reason why we hadn’t won yet. So they tried to pin us against each other.”
“The truth is we had 9 amazing years together… I’ll forever be grateful for the time we spent together.”
The Celtics want to surround Jayson Tatum with depth and role players, not to bring in another star to split shots with, per @SeanDeveney.
Boston’s likely targets are Herb Jones, Keldon Johnson, or "players of that range."
The difference between last year's Celtics and this year's Celtics is that we added these guys and replaced Jaylen brown with Jayson Tatum
The idea that we didn't get substantially better is straight up comical
I honestly think committed relationships are dead…Enjoy the vibe and don't allow people to play with you…You will only know if it's real over time. Respect is key and love is not forced. It's dangerous in today's world to even consider being committed in a relationship especially if you have something going for yourself..I stand on it.
Brad Stevens on what input Jayson Tatum had in the Jaylen Brown trade:
"None. I have a real hard-and-fast rule that I don't ask guys about other guys."
Brad Stevens on Jaylen Brown feeling disrespected by the trade process:
"I'm hopeful we can sit down and talk about that at some point, but I'm sorry that he feels that way."
