@yomzworld And that’s why I completely understand they why. He’s our ONLY tempo player. Zubi 1st season didn’t flatter him and changed our set up to 2 pivots. When TP was around, we didn’t need Ø to come collect in the way he does now and there was an emphasis on security
@yomzworld Context is key, PSG have pound for pound the best attack in the world, we don’t lol. Completely different set up, and that’s why I zeroed in on us. I’m not even saying his football is bad inherently, but too many things need to change to see him really flourish in his new form
@yomzworld He’s fortunate that Zubi and Eze didn’t cement their places in the midfield imo lol else serious questions would’ve asked on his future (which I still feel is under some level of scrutiny)
@yomzworld Ø issue in my eyes is layered; his football this tournament is also how he’s played for us specifically in the last 2 seasons. For me it’s not about stats, it’s his shift from creative fluid force / to tempo (safe hands). I understand the why, but I personally don’t like it
@yomzworld It’s football mehn, so many different styles, and everyone’s entitled to their preference. My preference is a creative / tempo midfielder with touch of flair. For example guys will till me Ø is hooping, mans done square root of null imo this game
@yomzworld I personally feel that’s reductive lol, do you have this same opinion for Aaron Ramsey or Lamps? Anyway sha I think Jude, as a player, is elite at what he does man, fantastic trajectory, still think he can get better and more dominant as a box crasher
