To Namjoon,
You had the clearest opportunity today to address the Chris Brown situation and you chose not to.
So I’m not going to keep asking you to talk about it. Your silence is an answer in itself even if it’s not the answer many of us wanted.
What I still find frustrating is the idea that we should simply “separate the art from the artist.” How are we supposed to do that when you spent years making your art so deeply connected to who you are, what you believe in, and the values you publicly shared with us?
You didn’t just give us music. You gave us your words, your beliefs, and your perspective. You asked us to listen to what you had to say about the world. That connection was part of what made your art meaningful to so many of us.
And if those messages were only something you used to sell records, while you privately believe something completely different, then that makes the situation even more absurd and sick. It would mean that the values people connected with were just a performance and that the person behind the art was never really present in it at all.
So when your actions contradict the values we associated with you, of course that changes how some of us experience your work. That isn’t hate. It isn’t “being an anti.” It’s a natural consequence of seeing the person behind the art contradict those values.
You are free to make your choices. But we are equally free to decide what those choices mean to us.
And honestly, telling people to separate the art from the artist feels less like maturity and more like avoiding an uncomfortable reality.
I’m not asking you for an apology anymore.
I just wonder whether the values you spent years talking about still mean what I thought they meant.
Today, you had the opportunity to tell us.
You chose silence.

-JUNHEE 🇰🇷❤️-
I still can’t believe I’m writing this.
Today, I won Eurovision 2026 Korea Next Wave, and I will have the incredible honor of representing South Korea.
To every fan who voted for me, supported me, believed in me, and stayed with me through every moment, and to everyone around the world who watched my performance, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
When my name was announced, before anything else, I thought of all of you.
Because I know this is not something I achieved alone.
I’ve been through so many chapters in my life as an artist. There were days when I doubted myself and wondered how far I could really go. But I kept singing because there were people waiting for my music, believing in what I could become, and giving me another reason to stand on stage.
That’s why tonight means so much more to me than simply winning a competition.
Now, I have the honor and responsibility of standing on the Eurovision Asia 2026 stage as a representative of South Korea.
I won’t take that responsibility lightly.
I promise to give everything I have on that stage and make you proud that you chose me.
Thank you for giving me a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.
You brought me this far.
Now, let me take you with me to an even bigger stage.
I love you. Truly.
And this is only the beginning.
See u in Bangkok🔥
Thank u everyone
