As a proud South African football supporter, I felt compelled to write to you after watching @BafanaBafana’s recent performance.

Firstly, I want to say that I believe South African football lost something special when @Masandawana parted ways with you. Your teams played with structure, bravery, tactical intelligence, and a clear identity which was translated to the national team. Those qualities seem to be fading, not only at club level but also within our national team.

Against Mexico, many of the Sundowns players showed that they operate at a much higher technical and tactical level than the rest of the squad. Their movement, decision-making, and composure on the ball stood out. Apart from Mbokazi, who impressed tremendously, there was a noticeable gap between the Sundowns players and many of their teammates.

I must also admit that I am increasingly concerned about the direction of the national team under Hugo Broos. While he deserves recognition for previous achievements, the football we are producing often lacks imagination, control, and tactical sophistication. As supporters, we want to see a South Africa that can compete with the best, not merely participate.

I sincerely wish you would return to South African football one day. In my view, Sundowns are slowly deteriorating from the standards that once made them the benchmark on the continent. Yesterday, at times, it felt as though we were playing “helicopter football” rather than the intelligent possession-based football that has brought success to both club and country.

Whether it is at Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, or even one day with Bafana Bafana, I pray that South African football finds its way back to coaches who prioritize identity, development, and modern football principles.

The next FIFA World Cup is in 2030, and we have a lot of work to do if we are serious about becoming a respected football nation. I remain hopeful that leaders like yourself can still play a role in shaping that future.

People don’t realize that you can actually push someone so far that they no longer want anything to do with you anymore . This applies to friendships, relationships, or even family.
Sometimes, people assume that because you love them, whether as a friend, partner, or family member you will continue to tolerate anything, disrespect, neglect, hurtful actions , lack of effort, or emotional stress.
Everyone has limits, and there is only so much one person can take before they choose peace over connection.
Even the most patient, kind-hearted person can reach their breaking point.
When someone continuously feels unappreciated, misunderstood, or mistreated, they can reach a place where they emotionally disconnect. And once someone emotionally disconnects, it is very hard to repair that relationship.

Doing a DNA test is not for everyone.

One of my friends did a DNA test and found out the child he was taking care of for 6 years was not his. The stress was dealing with him, we got a call from iOledy lakhe saying umjita is not even eating, he locked himself in his room for 3 days.

Zukhanye Nkabeni, 13, was brutally attacked and beaten while visiting a friend’s house in Harare, Khayelitsha, on 26 September 2025.

Police confirmed that after she arrived at her friend’s house, the mother and two other women allegedly started attacking her. The women allegedly beat Zukhanye on the head with planks, leaving her with a severe head injury. After the assault, Zukhanye’s mother was alerted and told to fetch her daughter.

Once Zukhanye and her mother were on the way to a police station, Zukhanye suffered a seizure, and her mother rushed her to Khayelitsha District Hospital instead. Doctors did everything they could, but tragically, she succumbed to her injuries. Before passing away, Zukhanye was able to give a statement about what had happened.

The motive of this brutal attack is still unknown and no one has been arrested as yet. We are heartbroken by the loss of yet another beautiful soul.
