I respect Messi’s greatness, but I’m fully convinced he’s going goal‑less this World Cup and Argentina are getting grouped. He holds them back.

Mayor Moya, Mamelodi east residents need answers. We need accountability. And most importantly, we need electricity.
The patience of your residents is running out.

Leadership is not tested when things are working. It is tested when residents are struggling.
To make matters worse, learners are currently writing exams. How are they expected to study, prepare, and succeed when they are spending hours without electricity, light, internet access, or even a warm room?
What is most frustrating is not only the outages themselves, but the apparent lack of communication and urgency. Residents deserve honest updates, clear timelines, and visible action.
We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for a basic service that we pay for.

Dear Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya,
How much longer are the residents of Mamelodi East expected to live like this?
For nearly three weeks, our electricity has been going off almost every single day for 5–6 hours at a time, and this is not even scheduled load shedding. Yesterday, some of us were left in the dark for more than 18 hours.
We are in the middle of winter. Homes are cold. Food is going bad. Businesses are suffering. Elderly residents, sick residents, and families with young children are being forced to endure conditions that should not be normal in a capital city.
