@TheExtremeMusi1 I think this is an impossible question to answer. So many are totally unique in their own ways.
Captain Beefheart
Mr. Bungle
Residents
Naked City
Atari Teenage Riot
It's a neverending list, tbh.
@Jerseypiper77 The irony here is that you named all of these guys who have nothing to do with the sludge doom that Iommi is going viral for. They couldn't be more different. And you're calling people posers. But you don't know this?
@Jonalius@BujokMr Through which mechanism would Warsh have the power to cut rates?
You gotta know that he can't cut rates, right? That's not how it works...
@TonesOfMusic Neil Peart, but I went to jazz camp back in the day and got to play bass with Ed Shaughnessy for one song. He's on the same level as Neil and you feel it in your bones when you're playing with someone of that caliber. Brain (Primus) is up there too.
@MichaelPBento Iran is perfectly positioned to embarrass the everliving fuck out of Trump tonight. A handful of missiles or drones would do it. And why wouldn't they after the shit he brought down on them?
@MichaelPBento The only folks I've met who are in the same vein are in commercial real estate. Wall St. is actually 10x worse though.
Society had higher emotional intelligence in previous times of crisis though. Future downturns or crises won't end well for the people directly involved.
@rickjeff78 Lower. Artificial gains for too long based on AI hopium and stupid valuations. That's normalized in our minds, but it's not normal. Add the oil crisis, inflation, fed, credit, carry trade, liquidity, etc. This is gonna be historic beyond what most expect.
@Mike5starLife@MichaelPBento Dude, this isn't a short-term supply disruption. it's long-term or permanent. Markets are trading the headlines. They haven't even begun to price in the longer-term or permanent effects here. War-risk and mining premiums are here to stay and the flow will never be the same again.
@Mike5starLife@MichaelPBento Hormuz has been closed for 3 months. You don't realize how significant the lag effects would be even if they opened it today? That won't happen though because of insurance and other factors. This might actually NEVER get resolved—we just haven't felt the impact...yet....
