Sometimes when reading @Twitter, I just feel like eating weed— fresh green weed. Not dried lest I smoke it, not in edibles for it then comes with carbs, just plain weed.
The #EU can write 2022 Report on Human Rights + Democracy in the world without mentioning the daily persecution + slaughter of #Palestinians by the Apartheid State of #Israel - And not a mention of Western supported Genocide in #Yemen - Why are we so selective in our criticism..?
Examinations Council of Lesotho (ECoL) have ended a long time Quality Assurance of Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education (LGCSE) partnership with University of Cambridge and entered into a new partnership with the National University of Lesotho.
@lebatymob@TsekoThapelo And that's the problem. Our polity sucks. Right now Matekane can get away with half-ass job because the no ideology or pragmatic goals we can hold him accountable for—we just repeating the same old mistakes as a nation. It's really sad. Ha re tlohelleng ho haila hle!
@Tsolo_Kabane That office is said to be independent—I hear. Which I think is wrong because that's not how we think as a society. @Kanono_Thabane is right to see him as a "prosecutor". We expect him to protect Basotho and bring justice to those who suffered injustice.
@SejanamaneMafa@Lestimes And that's the problem I had when speaking to people who were going to vote. Many don't know what's our system of government or the constitution. It worries me because we're continuing to elect parties(collective bargaining is good) not people to parliament. 🙆🏾♂️
This why someone could start a party and in win elections in months. Our electoral system doesn't serve the current society and it's democratic needs and aspirations. It's terrible how many wasted votes we have. What's more terrible is a weak opposition. #Lesotho

@SejanamaneMafa (2/2) I think RFP will be good for that. May be it's my ignorance but I don't even know who was the previous opposition leader. They could help put the government in check. <The coalition could alternate like what was proposed in Israel>
@SejanamaneMafa Long-term: don't you think it'll be wise that these parties that didn't win big form a coalition government, ntate @SejanamaneMafa? Yes, it'll be more fragile and would perhaps force cooperation between them. Plus, we don't have strong opposition politics (1/2).
