This year marks a decade of attending concerts.. I can't believe I've been going for 10 years, almost one every year, multiple a year sometimes. I feel happiest at gigs, being a room full of people who all have a common interest creates the best atmosphere. I just love them❤❤
I always feel so guilty then I pick up a Jane Austen and I just can't get into it.. I want to read them, but my brain just can't gel with the words and I get so sad
if you are not enjoying your book, you are free to close it and never open it again. even if it's a classic that everyone loved. a book has one job, it literally only has to be interesting. if it's not, have no guilt about not finishing it.
Given the news about Doctor Who.. the Doctor has always wanted to be ginger right? So like BBC get your shit together, get good writers and get Rupert Grint to play the Doctor.. please!
I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard:
"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."
i believe in re-reading and re-watching your favourite books & movies at different stages of your life. the plot never changes, but your perspective does.
this may 4th, i need you guys to remember that star wars is a story of rebellion and hope and not just "omg shiny neon swords!!". star wars is and has always been political and if you watched all those movies yet are still silent about the state of the world, watch again.
