@GrahamSmyth@LeeSobotYEP Leeds could only realistically offer him the No. 1 spot for a year, so he likely opted for better pay and a longer deal elsewhere as a No. 2. We need to be smarter and can’t be handing out long contracts to future backups / stop gaps when those funds are needed elsewhere atm.
@Faasm3@Davboro123 Always find it funny when Americans say they “beat the British” like they were two totally separate peoples. Half the revolutionaries were British colonists and loads of Americans today descend from Brits who moved over after independence anyway. It was more a civil war.
@talkSPORT PSG are really good. No doubt. I think a good debate is are they that good in Europe because it’s easier week in and out for them. EPL teams battle all season and like the English national team look knackered by the end.
You can’t say PSG aren’t great though.

In the Premier League this season, and Leeds signed him on a free transfer 😳
@ConorMcGilligxn I think we wait to see how Spurs do at Wolves… that’s the only unknown isn’t it. If they’re still poor then you can reassess… but if they look great then yes it could be an absolute dogfight.
@BBCWYS@BBCSounds We’ve got a solid defence behind him and we need someone doing something up top. I was happy with it, took his goal great and occupied defenders. No issues losing ball in the final third trying to make something happen vs endless passing
@Leeds_lord1 I think it’s that we didn’t successfully bring in an attacker even though we clearly tried and that the other clubs spent big too… so any teams were trying to drag into a relegation battle have strengthened and rather than been a strong chance of survival our year is big risk
