So if Hurts and their core goes on to have another bad year, I’d be in agreement of making a change. But when you have winners who have brought you to where you are, you give them the benefit of the doubt to turn it around
You don’t hear people questioning the role of the CEO of a Fortune 500 company for 1 average year after 10 unbelievable years
The eagles have been a top 3 (minimum) team and organization for the last 10 years
One “down” year and people act like you need to rip the core out
Jalen Hurts has been the source of much internal frustration for the Eagles, including teammates other than AJ Brown, per @MikeSilver.
Coach Nick Sirianni, GM Howie Roseman, owner Jeffrey Lurie have been "reluctant" to criticize Hurts.
Take Lululemon for example
Up 300% from 2018-Dec 2023 from when their CEO took over in 2018.
But down 51% since Dec 2023. It took them 2.5 years of underperformance to make a change
Life is beautiful.
Do not miss it.
Do not take it for granted.
Do not tell yourself something is missing, as you will always find something to look for.
The thing you are looking for is you.
Cam Ward talks about how his dad @calvinaward inspired his work ethic:
“I’ve grown up watching my dad wake up at 4:30 doing the job he did… so if I can’t wake up early and do what I need to do for a job I do, I shouldn’t be playing football.”
@BillyM_91 A lot of people had concerns of Cook handling a large workload (including myself)
Honestly I haven’t seen a single RB recently that’s had issues with handling a workload. Hell, if Devon Achane can do it…
