@Belladonna_Fox@azunyalice@TheNC64@Saf3tyM3asur3s@sheesheeluvu@vampyrseduction@bittermoder ur conflating 2 separate things.
on trans twt its common knowledge that c1s men often take t to correct hormonal imbalances. that’s one of the ways people advocate for better access to gac. i.e. you should already know this.
it’s bad practice to assume all bodies are the same
@Belladonna_Fox@azunyalice@TheNC64@Saf3tyM3asur3s@sheesheeluvu@vampyrseduction@bittermoder some c1s men need to take testosterone replacement therapy for low t levels. this is common knowledge i feel. what part of “everyone’s body is different” is so hard to understand
some trans women have naturally too high estrogen levels, some have virtually no progesterone etc.
@L1ly0fth3v4l3y@TheNC64@azunyalice@Saf3tyM3asur3s@sheesheeluvu@vampyrseduction@bittermoder my response to the diy suggestion is a polite reminder that hrt refers to more than just estrogen. that other hormones can be extremely difficult to procure.
someone replied with medically harmful (and intersexist) information; i corrected them. fuck outta here w ur accusations
@horizonafterdrk its mostly projection/self-centeredness. everyone's body is different. read your labs and see if your hormone levels are in the target range, if they are you're fine
also try not to micromanage it, don't model what the dose does or obsess over it. if it's working its working
