Frieda Yayra Amable, a woman from Anfoega in the Volta Region, is urging the public to stop eating white clay so it can be used for more valuable purposes.
In a video she shared, she displayed a large consignment of the clay ready for shipment to China and revealed that Chinese buyers regularly collect and export it for ceramic production. She further appealed to business moguls to step forward and build a factory capable of transforming the clay into goods of greater economic value.

On March 6, 2026, 45-year-old Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Conduah, a lead pastor of Mahanaim Christian Centre and the founder and chief counselor of ‘Awarepa Counseling Services’ at Ankaful in Cape Coast, was arrested at his apartment in Woraba, a suburb of Eguase, Cape Coast, Ghana. The arrest was carried out in a joint operation by the Ghana Police Service (including CID and DOVVSU), the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), and National Security.
He allegedly lúrêd a 13-year-old JHS girl in August 2021 under pretext of spiritual counselling, repeatedly sęxuálly abúsed her over years, récorded vidéos, and in some cases fórced her to appear on caméra promoting a pørn site with intent to dístribúte. The case emerged after she confided in her school headmistress, leading to a DOVVSU complaint and court referral.
During the arrest, authorities recovered from his home: one HP laptop, 3 external hard drives, 5 pen drives, one Android mobile phone, one tablet, two electronic víbratórs with accessories, assorted contrácéptives (used and unused), lubrîcánts, a used prégnancy tést kít, and two ladies’ pántîes. With Cyber Security Authority assistance, forensic analysis revealed evidence of chíld sęxuál abúse matérial production and three private pørnøgràphic website accounts on his devices.
Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Conduah, the individual seen in the two videos attached below, has been remanded into prison custody and is scheduled to reappear before the court on March 27, 2026. Investigations remain ongoing, with several reports suggesting the possible involvement of multiple chíld víctims.
