@mt_mods@VodafoneUK@vodafone@VodafoneGroup Let them drive down to Tesco for 10 minutes and use their WiFi to tweet/X an update -I hope the whole of Newbury isn't using Vodafone
Broadband has been out for an hour. The lack of communication from Vodafone is appalling. Isn't this what social media channels are for? @VodafoneUK@vodafone@VodafoneGroup
@VodafoneUK my broadband went down, router diagnostic utility shows that the connectivity test failed, and I can't even check the status on your website. Any update?
@EastMidRailway@TLRailUK@TLRailUK is the 11.07pm running? If so I can leave my office. I was on the platform to take the 7.26pm when all the disruptions happened and went back to the office. It's not clear to me if the trains are now running or not?
@EastMidRailway Thanks! Does that mean Thameslink trains are also running again? Or did I miss it? I don't know if the National Rail times are accurate? @TLRailUK
@TLRailUK Okay, thanks. National Rail app shows a train at 9.36pm, but not sure how reliable it is? I dont really see an alternative way to get to Leagrave, can I use my ticket on the EMR?
@Dubbs_Up@PeerJansen1@WhiteHouse Interesting, learned something new. The tax system looks quite complicated with differences even on local levels. Looks like most places do have a sales tax (albeit lower than most VAT), which likely still comes on top of the sales price, which incorporates the import tariff
@Dubbs_Up@PeerJansen1@WhiteHouse Ah, right, thank you for pointing that out. In which case the American car would indeed be closer to 12% more expensive than the French car. Still far below the 31% mentioned earlier though. And presumably VAT is also added in addition to the tariff to EU products sold in the US?
@Dubbs_Up@PeerJansen1@WhiteHouse There will also be 20% VAT on French cars like Peugeot or Renault. So if the reason would be unfair competition, the difference in price for which they are competing with the French consumer would be 10%, not 31%.
@TLRailUK@Crypto_and_Son What do you mean by an alternative service? Only Thameslink trains stop at Harlington and Flitwick. When will services restart? A train departed northbound from St Pancras but only up until Luton
@TLRailUK Only Thameslink runs to Flitwick, would you reimburse a taxi from Luton to Flitwick if I take the EMR? And guesstimate how long this may take? 1hr or 4hrs?
