Will it force the Government to detain and deport all illegal migrants? No. Does it send a message? Absolutely right it does. And most importantly, does it give courage to others? Yes.

This is the position shared by the vast majority of the British people. Never let anyone tell you otherwise.

Millions feel so detached from the political process, particularly in the decision to house these men in our communities. How can the Government act so vehemently against the wishes and the interests of our people? Placing these unknown men in our towns and cities? Near schools? Playgrounds? It is unfathomably evil.

I just don’t want these men in our country. I don’t care what lie they’ve spun. They’ve broken into our country. They are not welcome. They should be detained and they should be deported.

It's that simple.

I am not ashamed to say that. And nor should you be.

We needed 10k for the official Government response, we got that in an hour. We needed 100k for the Westminster debate, we got that in six hours.

This will go far higher.
