New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control.
In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale.
Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: https://t.co/wzNkwHs7IN
I feel like we are close to running out of mystical or whimsical names for AI models and let’s be honest there a limited amount of mythology to reference without it getting super dark. It won’t be long till we have models called toaster toilet or some other arbitrary combination of words
Muse Wonder from @AIatMeta is available on @CloudflareDev AI Gateway. Frontier models, built to deliver state-of-the-art performance for personal and professional agentic tasks.

I don’t really believe in “porting” Laravel to Rust, Go, TypeScript, or anything else, and I wouldn’t describe my Rust experiments that way.
I’m treating it as a chance to experiment with something spiritually similar to Laravel: strong conventions (for agents), full-stack solutions to common web development needs, and familiar APIs, but designed from first principles around what makes sense in that language, and in a world where humans no longer read or write code by hand.
Some features of classical Laravel wouldn’t make it into a Rust / Go / TypeScript version at all, and I’d solve some problems in entirely different ways.
A blind “/goal port this to Rust” is naive imo. It misses the point and it misses the opportunity.
@thomas_ankcorn@mattzcarey i think when you're hooked into the matrix as much as we are the things we end up wanting, whether they make sense or not (this absolutely does) end up culminating to very similar themes...
it’s got to the point where I don’t even ask if things like this are coming I just assume and wait…
looking forward to playing with this
nice work @thomas_ankcorn / @mattzcarey
