No human should enter a sewer. PERIOD. Machines are not a luxury, they are a basic right. Yet 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 die every year in India doing exactly that, entering drains, sewers, and septic tanks with their bare hands. But do you hear any 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 about their lives? Elections happen constantly in this country, yet these topics never make it to a single page in any manifesto. Why? Because people don't demand it. --------------------- This is precisely what 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁 points to, a state cannot rise if its voters remain inwardly unaware.
