@SimofCole@HazelAppleyard There are plenty of reasons to, but it is ultimately the bride and groom’s decision if they’re the ones hosting/paying for the wedding. We paid for our wedding, and had a small table of pictures of those departed who we wished could be there.
It was the middle of the night, at about 1.30am, when Norway lost to England.
Yet thousands of Norwegians went to the Palace in Oslo and celebrated with one final Viking row.
They did not riot. They did not burn cars. They did not smash bus stops or glass windows of shops.
They smiled. The laughed. They saw the positive in their performance. They celebrated their heritage. They were proud of who they have been in the past and who they are today.
Norway might be out of the World Cup 2026 but they are in our hearts.
In the last three weeks, I think we have all fallen a little bit in love with Norwegians.
@mrmikeMTL No. I dissected a frog in 8th grade, and in younger grades we did a grasshopper, a cow’s eye, and an owl pellet. In high school, I dissected a pig heart and a cat and I think a few other things but can’t remember exactly what.
7 things every kid needs to hear:
1. I love you
2. I’m proud of you
3. I’m sorry
4. I forgive you
5. I’m listening
6. Communism has failed every time it was tried
7. You’ve got what it takes
@WallStreetApes What county is this because I started at 40k 10 years ago and when I left 3 years ago the starting pay was $50k (abt 10k more if you have a masters degree or above), and that didn’t include any of the bonuses you get from running clubs, being a department head, etc.
@micah_erfan Probably the same way my school had a record low level of referrals and suspensions my last year - because we were no longer allowed to write students up or hold them accountable for anything!
@JoeySalads Why do they all have to give speeches tho? Can’t they just… exist in the show/universe without their entire character revolving around that?
