@globalgamejam @rootbeargame - but this decision is antithetical to the collaborative jam spirit i know and love. i hope @globalgamejam rescinds this sponsor and diversifier in solidarity with game artists everywhere exploited by unregulated ai practices

i will not be participating in @globalgamejam this year due to their frankly insulting and tone-deaf last minute addition of an ai sponsor and diversifier, openly encouraging ggj devs to use ai generated assets to “speed up their pipeline”

astounding discrimination at work. high-risk populations don’t have a choice in getting more severely sick. maskless people still pose a risk to masked people in enclosed spaces. this is ableism, discrimination, social murder, eugenics
