AC/DC Album Ranking from Worst to Best

#7: The Razor’s Edge (1990)

Damn…sometimes I forget just how GOOD this album is! Some would say this is also one of the best comeback albums in Rock. Considering how most people felt about the bands output since Back In Black. By the time Blow Up Your Video had come out, I’m sure many fans thought the band’s best days were behind them. But when Thunderstruck hit the airways…the band was right back on top. But to me, this album is ALMOST the peak of the band’s songwriting with Brian Johnson. These are some of the CATCHIEST batch of songs the band EVER WROTE. And I truly think the band struck the right balance in their sound between Back In Black and Blow Up Your Video. And I LOVE the guitar tone on those album! Some of these songs are HEAVY for AC/DC!

Say What you want about Thunderstruck. I know it’s over played, but it really has one of the best build ups in Rock HISTORY! HOLY FUCK I love Stick To Your Guns! Perhaps my favorite song on the album and FIRMLY in the top ten for favorite AC/DC songs! FUCKIN RIPS! Money Talks is actually one of my favorite singles from this band. MY GAWD that chorus is so damn catchy! The title track is SO GOOD because its a RARE occasion where this bands actually creates atmosphere in a song! That guitar riff is very dark and ominous sounding. Really unique song in the band’s catalog! Mistress For Christmas is fun for the novelty. I don’t think it should take up space on an album. Should’ve been a stand alone single or bonus track somewhere. Rock Your Heart Out reminds me of a song that could’ve been on ‘Flick Of The Switch’! Great song! A couple other deep tracks that are awesome are Got You By The Balls and Shot Of Love!

Overall, this is one of those big selling albums that is actually worth the hype! Some of the catchiest songs the band ever wrote are on this thing! The replay ability of this thing is OFF THE CHARTS because there are some GREAT deep cuts here that were overshadowed by the IMMENSELY popular singles! Okay…here where we get down to business. From here on out…things get REALLY tough. No pressure…😂
