If you still have a heart full of compassion and empathy, thank Allah for having protected you. For the world is filled with people without love. Without regard for humanity and human life.
You must live with the conviction that Allah loves you, wants to forgive you, doesn't desire hardship for you, intends ease for you, will compensate you with better, gives you grief to mature you, isolates you to enjoy your company alone & place trials to humble you. Be patient.
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“Allāh does not forget the good you do, nor does He forget the good you did to others and the pain you relieved them from. Nor will He forget the eye which was about to cry but you made it laugh.”
[Timeless Seeds of Advice]
The only thing that elevates you is your taqwā.
Not your status. Not your wealth. Not your knowledge.
Taqwā—consciousness of Allah.
Not a claim on the tongue, nor a feeling you merely sense in the heart.
The real question is: does it restrain you from sin and push you toward obedience?
Because true taqwā is not what you feel when reminded, it is what you act upon when no one sees you except Allah.
When you truly trust Allah ﷻ, He becomes enough. Not people. Not plans. Just Him ﷻ!
وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُۥ ۚ
"And whoever relies upon Allāh - then He is sufficient for him." — Surah At-Talaq 65:3
The brothers were alive and healthy on Monday. Today is Sunday. Really deep that for a second because that’s how death comes in and turns your world upside down. To Allah we belong and to Him we return
Don't despise, don’t hurt, don’t look down on others. You may think you’re powerful today but things can change in the blink of an eye. Reflect, stay humble. The Almighty can take away anything at any time. Thank Him.
Astaghfirullah for all the times i've been ungrateful. The things we take for granted, someone else is praying for. Even at our lowest point, we have a lot more to be thankful for, than to be hopeless about. Alhamdulillah for everything.
