Again, and again, my biggest concern for Chelsea this season is the formation.

My biggest problem with the team now is the formation. Maresca had already built a solid 4231 formation. Alonso should have just built on that foundation. Switching to a back 3 will limit us this season.

I hope the board and our manager know what they are doing. They have had an overwhelmingly great window, however, if they fail to properly strengthen after the sale of Enzo it could backfire and all the excitement for the new season will die a natural death.

It’s unbelievable that we have sold Delap, Jackson, Guiu, Badashile, Disasi, in one window. I have always had headache with the thought of its possibility.

Now I believe we are building a solid foundation for a better and more strategic squad building going forward.

Lamine Camara is obviously not a like for like replacement for Enzo Fernandez but he will be a very quality addition to our midfield and increase the intensity of our football. If Alonso wants him, I want him too.
