@HRebel444 Yepp. I think also spending time and building meaningful connections with people outside of the system outside of the field helps a lot. It kind of grounds you a bit in that regard. You need to come up for air occasionally because it is mentally and emotionally draining
@HRebel444 …So yes, when you witness these things, you get a bit desensitized to the loss of human lives. But beyond a certain point, you become a danger to the lives entrusted into your care. There has to be a minimally acceptable level of regard/value for human life
