@jorge_utd Getting more done with less effort. The skill development bottlenecks are massively reduced. It will save me time once the automating is done.
Claude Opus:
LLMs are pattern-completion engines. When you're trying to interpret data, that mechanism works against you.
The honest version is: keep me on documentation, structure, and codification of what you've already concluded. Don't ask me to interpret what's happening.
@ZaStocks Let's not forget about contextual, conversational web search. Even if AI isn't changing everything (yet), it is giving us back our time through efficient data retrieval. That is no small thing, if you value your time.
@ZaStocks AI has already dramatically reduced the admin component of my small business. I wanted a spreadsheet, I got a comprehensive data management system that spits out accurate quotes from design discussion email summaries. Incredible time saver.
@alphacharts365 AI analyzed past work & pricing, found a link between geometric complexity and rework risk that I never quantified. Now I have a scaling risk premium built into repeatable quotes across my entire feature catalog. Summarize emails, produce quotes in seconds. Major time saver.
@AnkurPatel59 You were able to build what you already understood without needing to go beyond your domain of knowledge. AI simply reduces the need for specialized languages when building digital things.
We should not underestimate the power of being able to code in our own natural language.
@ohiain I paid my tuition in these environments twice before. This time I am only 5% exposed and the only reason I haven't cut is because my two very small positions are still green. Your posts have been quite helpful for me to focus on environment first. I appreciate it!
@_The_Prophet__ Totally agree. I've been self employed for most of my life. Took a detour into tech for a few years so I could buy a house, and now I'm back to owning my own schedule. Personal freedom is priceless.
@ohiain You've got the right attitude. I appreciate the long form posts, as I'm sure many others do as well. You get into the level of detail that people need when they are just starting to develop an understanding of how to approach the markets. Thank you!
@ohiain@OliverKell_ Thank you for this. I have been going through your past posts and your content is quite valuable to me personally as I am writing out my playbook and trading plan. I appreciate you taking the time to organize and share your thoughts like this.
@ZaStocks@VBartolotta2 That would a wonderful post. I follow you and appreciate your advice. I have learned a lot about zooming out and adjusting risk/exposure to what you can handle. I did the same as you, and I am now reviewing and learning from my mistakes so I don't always give so much back.
