“a few years ago, i was so depressed that i couldn’t even get out of a room filled with anxiety at home, coinciding with the pandemic. taking a lot of medication every day, the previous group i was a fan of disbanded, and when feeling heartbroken, i would watch the documentary from the previous group, shedding tears of nostalgia. occasionally, i caught a glimpse of txt in the pop-up scene, watched their stages, and watched the performance of the five of them, their interactions and emotions were beyond my reach. i bought/won a fancall and started crying an hour before the fancall, tears streaming down my face as i trembled slightly, nearly hanging up the video. i couldn’t control my emotions and nervousness. looking at yeonjun’s panicked face, he urgently told me not to cry and asked me what had happened. i said that i’m a coward, and i haven’t left my house for half a year. i dare not interact with strangers, but you have become my redemption, so i want to be brave. he told me before the video ended that, “some people don’t have to be brave.”

let me tell you a little more, the second meeting was an offline autograph signing. he recognized me the moment he saw me. maybe he remembered me because i cried so ugly when i read my signature. my korean was really bad at that time and i could only recite a few sentences, but before i even got on stage i was crying and couldn’t say anything. then he told me again, “you don’t have to be brave, you know? but you are very brave now. don’t trap yourself just because you think there is something wrong with you. if meeting me makes you feel happy, then we can meet more often. but i still pray, i hope you can live happily without me.”
