After years of telling myself I never would, recent events have made me realize there’s only one way forward;

I’m getting therapy.

For far too long, I’ve allowed self-destructive thoughts and patterns to govern my life.

I’ve always prided myself on “moving forward and always progressing” within the realms of my physique, my skill, and my streams; yet for some reason I always neglected to subject my mental health to the same standard.

After several days of thinking, I’ve come to realize just how much I’ve refused to acknowledge the magnitude at which certain events in my life have impacted me, however it’s not something I think I can fix alone.

I truly hope that seeking professional help will change things for the better, however something that I’ve come to realize is that I don’t want to be a better man for someone else.

While nothing is set in stone, Laura is willing to see where things go and try to support me on this new, uncharted journey towards true self-improvement, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

For all the kind words over the last few days, I appreciate it more than you all could ever know;
