“My dream is to be a billionaire like my father”
“Oh Bab’dokotela so your father is a billionaire?”
“No, he’s also dreaming to be a billionaire” 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I came across Romans 8:18 today, and it was exactly what I needed to read. Life brings challenges, heartbreak, delays, and moments that make us question what God is doing. But one thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t make mistakes. Even when we can’t see the bigger picture, He is still working behind the scenes for our good. The struggles you’re facing today are not the end of your story. Hold on. Keep trusting. Keep praying. The pain you’ve been carrying won’t compare to the joy, healing, blessings, and peace God has waiting for you on the other side of this season.
If it isn’t laundry it’s the dishes. If it isn’t the dishes the bathroom needs to be clean, fridge needs to be stocked or floors need to be mopped. It’s never just ending 😂
Psalm 27 hits differently when you’ve lived through a season where hope felt hard to hold onto. David said, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” And what’s powerful is that he didn’t say that when life was easy. He said it while facing fear, uncertainty, and opposition from every direction. Still… he chose confidence. Not because everything looked good at the moment but because he trusted the God who was walking with him through it. I think many women need that reminder right now. Just because life feels heavy doesn’t mean God’s goodness skipped over you. Just because the answer hasn’t come yet doesn’t mean He isn’t working. And just because this season hurts doesn’t mean this is how your story ends. God’s goodness is still coming into your life. Into the places you’ve cried over. Into the prayers you’ve repeated a hundred times. Into the areas where you’ve almost given up hope. Your peace. Your healing. Your future. Your breakthrough. So keep trusting Him, even before you see the outcome. Because when God makes a promise, He never fails to fulfil it.
