The govt wants drug free himachal, and wants youth to engage in sports.
But when youth play in the limited grounds available, government charges fees (Ground Entry Fees) to play in that ground.
Bhai pehle infrastructure bnao us layak, jiski fee pay krna jayaz lagey.
If you think you have a very high patience level, kabhi HP k CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu ka koi bhi media interview sunlena. Jesi baate karta hai Khoon khaulta hai😔.
Nine months into marriage, Aman Kumar left for duty. His father’s surgery was coming up, so he told his wife he’d return soon. He never did. He fell in the Galwan clash and received the Sena Medal. Today is his birthday. #Galwan#AmanKumar
🇮🇳 She walked long distances to college from a small village in Himachal Pradesh. Today, she commands one of the Indian Army's most critical logistics units.
Colonel Sapna Rana's journey is a powerful reminder that great leaders are shaped by determination—not by privilege. ❤️
🏡 Born into a modest family in Himachal Pradesh, Sapna didn't come from a defence background.
There were no shortcuts, no special connections, and no guarantees—only hard work and an unwavering dream of serving the nation.
📚 She studied in government schools, earned a Commerce degree from Government Post Graduate College, Solan, and later completed an MBA from Himachal Pradesh University.
💪 During college, she joined the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and rose to become a Senior Under Officer.
🏔️ She was also the only NCC cadet from Himachal Pradesh selected for the prestigious Kargil Vijay Camp—a milestone that strengthened her resolve to wear the olive green.
Initially preparing for the Civil Services, Sapna eventually chose the path her heart had always wanted.
🎖️ She cleared the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination and joined the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, in 2003.
🪖 In 2004, she was commissioned into the Army Service Corps (ASC).
🌟 Years later, she scripted history by becoming the first woman from Himachal Pradesh to command an Army Service Corps battalion in Northeast India.
Today, she leads one of the Indian Army's most vital logistics units, ensuring troops posted in some of the country's toughest operational areas receive timely supplies and support.
🏅 Her achievements extend far beyond military leadership.
✅ Gold medallist in endurance training
🎯 National-level pistol and trap shooter
🏃 Marathon runner
🛩️ Qualified microlight pilot
👏 She has also been honoured with four Commendation Cards, including two from the Chief of Army Staff, in recognition of her outstanding service.
✨ Colonel Sapna Rana's story proves that no dream is too distant when it is backed by discipline, courage, and relentless perseverance.
🇮🇳 A salute to a trailblazer who continues to inspire countless young women to lead, serve, and break barriers in uniform.

As a soldier I am gratified that India’s democracy has shown the world how to deal with CIA inspired coloured revolutions. Remember Tienan men square in 1989 when PLA was forced to use tanks to crush the students uprising?Closer home Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal had equally failed to deal with such coloured revolutions. So how did India do it? Most coloured revolutions identify a genuine cause/ https://t.co/bGH1hGs0cy Nepal and Sri Lanka it was abject corruption & neopotism, in Bangladesh it was 35% reservations for Mukti jodhas. In india they chose leakage of NEET https://t.co/dVhBzuDSz7 was a genuine cause that effected young students & their Middle class parents. In Bangla Desh Mohd Yunis was parachuted from Washington. In India youth Leaders were parachuted from Boston and Dubai and some remained in Germany. Phase one is this build up of anger on a genuine issue. Initially Govt was adamant that Mr Pradhan would not resign. That snow balled anger and Instagram was the prime platform. The agitation spread to many cities. Alarm bells Rang . The indian govt acted in an intelligent & sensitive manner to address the main cause of angst. Mr Pradhan was asked to resign and remedial legislation & measures announced. Meanwhile Playbook went into phase2 with introduction of over 2800 Anti- social elements to attack police and introduce violence. Policemen were viciously attacked. In Nepal, Iran and Bangladesh rooftop snipers had been used to kill both police and students. That would take it to level next for action against all police and law and order agencies. The original aim was forgotten in build up to mob lynching, looting and arson. India tripped up the agitation by addressing root causes and not letting violence escalate. Sourav Das did try to challenge the Supreme Court order of no FIRs against students but certainly against the Gundas & gangsters. His defiance gave the whole show away. It was the familiar playbook in action. It was not designed to set India’s exam system right but overthrow a duly elected govt. Indian govt has exhibited the sensitivity of Self- correction & taken the wind out of the sails of this incipient movement.
