Prediction markets have a dirty secret: settlement. When the match ends, an admin, multisig, or token vote decides who gets paid, the exact trust crypto was supposed to remove.

Worst case? Data can't prove the outcome → market voids, program refunds cost basis, you claim it yourself. No stuck funds, ever.

Built a parimutuel scalar prediction market protocol on Solana for my @solanaturbine Q2 Builders capstone.
It's called Bucketier: users bet on price buckets, and payouts follow an inverse-distance gradient. Closer predictions earn more, but even "close but wrong" gets paid.
