I support SB1543. We are a representative democracy. NIMBYs are a primary cause of homelessness and high housing costs. Barry Graham with Scottsdale City Council speaks against the Axon Bill SB1543. 🚨 Barry Graham, Scottsdale City Councilman speaks to Arizona Senate Bill 1543, a strike-everything amendment that allows Axon to build corporate headquarters to bypass local zoning elections. Critics argue it's unconstitutional “special legislation” designed to benefit Axon in Scottsdale by canceling a referendum on its proposed headquarters and 1,900 apartments. Arizona’s Constitution (art. IV, pt. 2, § 19) prohibits laws granting exclusive privileges to specific corporations.
@Genetics56 I’d go to Miami for B1G championship game. It would surely sell out as it is also a great trip for midwesterners and easterners in December.
@Genetics56 19 is the ideal number with a 10-game conference schedule. Two annual rivals and you play everyone else every other year. That leaves two non-cons for warm ups and/or marquee matchups.
@Genetics56 The B12 may not have been their intention, but it is where they will end up. B1G and SEC don't want either one of them. Non-AAU, culturally incongruous, and the SEC already has UF and SC.
@Genetics56 Notre Dame will go to the B1G. The conference will not offer a scheduling agreement. They will need to join the B1G if they want to play more than a couple B1G schools per season.
