Some of you won’t like this, but the truth is the truth. Your wife is not your financial backup plan. Your children are your responsibility, and expecting your wife to shoulder that burden while blaming her for refusing is simply unfair. If you’re not financially ready to raise children, don’t have them yet. Accountability matters.
Symbolic or metonymic, yes; but not euphemistic. You can't douse the poignancy of "olodo uprising" by citing "the Peller culture" as a euphemistic material. It rather puts him at the crux.
I agree with Ycee, even more with his citation of Peller as the face of the olodo uprising
I cannot lie, and this is my personal conviction, if somebody mentions a player as their best ever and it’s not Messi, i just know i cannot discuss football matters with you at all. No need

He's so surprised that he asked me how I got to know all that. I told him I always watched football & listened to sports news.
Int'l football bailed me out. This was 2008. Euro & AFCON just got concluded & news about other continental competitions were flying around.
Escape!
Back in secondary school, a group of us were making noise in the class. This teacher came to our class, packed the six of us caught in the act to the staff room, & asked to ride an imaginary bike as punishment.
None of us lasted beyond 10 minutes. We were young, all in JSS 1.
I was the 4th to be asked. The previous three had gotten their questions wrong & resumed their bike duties.
When it got to me, he asked me to mention the six continents in the world & mention five countries in each.
I answered in a flash, not mistaking one for the other.
I don’t know why we insert “by” between “building yourselves up in your most holy faith” and “praying in the Holy Spirit” when we read Jude 20.
A rough paraphrase of Jude’s thought would be:
“Beloved, keep yourselves in God’s love by continually building yourselves up in the faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, and waiting for Christ’s mercy.”
“Praying in the Holy Spirit” is not grammatically attached only to “building yourselves up.” Rather, building, praying, and waiting are parallel means by which believers obey the central command to keep themselves in the love of God.
I know someone will say, “Doesn’t prayer build us up?” Of course it does. But that’s not what Jude is saying. People did this thing with the John 10:10 tweet and it was really frustrating to see.
