Richard “Rich” Porter. Harlem, 1989.
“Mitch.”
$50,000 a week.
Coming up in Harlem, Rich started off in the drug game selling fake hash which consisted of a mixture of sage and eggs. As he matured he leveled up to moving Heroin and Cocaine, with his best friend at the time Donald “LA” Johnson.
LA lost his life at the popular rooftop, a place where all the Harlem hustlers hung out at. Rich would go to prison on a 1984 weapons charge, and after serving a year he would come out ready to claim his spot in the streets.
During Rich’s run in the streets, his legend grew, mainly because of his every day attire and the cars he drove. A popular rumor in Harlem was that Rich never wore the same outfit twice.
Rich and Alpo connected before his 1984 weapons charge, which led to Alpo connecting with Azie. Alpo’s jealously and resentment due to him believing Rich was lying about kilos they were getting from OG Juan, led to his early death; around the time Rich’s little brother Donnell was kidnapped by their Uncle.
