Sulfa drugs are arguably the root of all modern pharmacotherapy
Before the sulfa miracle, doctors were (by and large) highly pessimistic about the idea of using chemistry to treat disease
Seems insane now, but that was less than a century ago!
Big tank. Big tests. Big milestone.
Nova Stage 1 proto-qualification is complete.
46 structural objectives verified, plus key fluid systems, avionics, software, ground systems, and ops demos. (More detail in our linked blog post.)
This is where new rockets often find the hard stuff; Nova (and the Stoke team) handled it. Our local partners at the @PORTOFMOSESLAKE , the Grant County Sheriff's Office and Public Works department, plus our vendor Norco made sure we had the support we needed every step of the way.

@MattBraynard Europeans are just incompetent
Even when TSA was defunded, I was able to re-enter the US and clear security @ Boston Logan in maybe 20 minutes
Meanwhile Madrid forced us to spend hours in glacially slow Schengen emigration lines
Last week a thunderstorm rolled through the Moses Lake area, causing high winds (but no damage) at our test site. Excellent preparation by the local team ensured that our Stage 1 structure held fast despite wind, rain, and lightning. โก๏ธ๐
@evisdrenova Tokyo Skytree was *packed* in the evening, but the view is awesome - it feels impossible to grasp the sheer scale of Tokyo from the ground
Harajuku (not far from Shinjuku) is perhaps a bit of a tourist trap, but the street food was good and I got a cool jacket ;p
@the_ason I will never forgive the hippies and the Euros for requiring fear-mongering labels on radiation sterilized food
We could have meat that keeps for 2-3x longer for literally free (no radiation hazard or nutrition/quality degradation) but noooo radiation scaryyy
Sound๐on: epic fly-by footage of the ongoing Zenith engine testing and Stage 1 structural qualifications happening at our test site in Moses Lake. ๐ค๐
