Chung Pui-kuen has just now been sentenced to 21 months in prison.
While 14 months was used as a starting point for Patrick Lam, due to health & other factors, he has been given a sentence which will allow him to be released immediately.
Today marks 10 years since Uyghur HRD Ilham Tohti was cruelly sentenced to life imprisonment in #China for his peaceful work promoting the rights of the Uyghur minority. I once again call for his immediate release & for China to stop misusing criminal legislation to target HRDs

Tomorrow: Verdict in the largest political trial in #HongKong history, to be delivered over 2 days. The 16 of the #HK47 who plead not guilty will hear their fate. 4 of the 16 have been remanded >1,180 days; 2 others 950-970 days. The trial lasted 118 days from Feb to Dec 2023.
