@RandBall Important to note here too that the easiest pass to make would be to Julius who was not having a good shooting night (month). Definitely factors into Ant’s decision here.
Frank Ragnow will go down as one of the best centers of his era 🛡️
Ragnow is the only NFL center to play 2,000+ pass block snaps and allow less than 5 sacks since 2020 😤
@Fox916Monk @statmuse • Volume stat
• AST vs REB is a wash
• Volume stat
• Volume stat
• Most Clutch PTS, FGM, 3PM off the bench?! So he was playing as a starter to close the games? Doesn’t sound like a bench player to me.
Volume stats the weakest. Ask Andre Drummond how much those help winning
@Fox916Monk @statmuse Here, I can do the research for you once again:
21-22 Tyler Herro 10 GS
17-18 Lou Will 19 GS
16-17 Eric Gordon 15 GS
10-11 Lamar Odom 35 GS
08-09 Jason Terry 11 GS
07-08 Manu Ginobili 23 GS
06-07 Leandro Barbosa 18 GS
05-06 Mike Miller 9 GS
@Fox916Monk @statmuse I must have missed what every damn category was. Please let me know. “.. for coming off the bench.” I thought the starter comment was a joke?! Do we need to go over again how starting 10-20 games isn’t how the award has been determined?
@Fox916Monk @statmuse Great, Im glad we can agree that playing time isn’t the differentiator. Now tell me why your research says Malik should have won if mine is bad. Bc I know it wasn’t FG%, 3PT%, TOV%, ORtg, Drtg, VORP or Team success.. must have been those 2 extra points on 2 more shots per game..?
@dsmith090707@WolvesGOAT Starting some games means nothing for 6MOY. Multiple winners started 10+ in the last decade. Monk took more shots both per game and in total.. higher usage.. more MPG.. if the argument against Naz is he played too much then Monk shouldn’t win either
@Fox916Monk @statmuse You and statmuse insinuated that Naz starting some games should make him ineligible for the award. My question was pointing out that he is not one and Malik is closer to starter status. The award has gone to multiple players who started 10+ games in just the last 10 years
@NaveZerep@HoodieNaz_ @CrossoverKai Tyler Herro started 10 games when he won, Lou Will started 19 one of the years he won, Eric Gordon 15.. and no 6th man winner played as few minutes per game as Naz since Corliss Williamson in 01-02. Malik 5th most minutes on his team compared to Naz being 6th
