My Pops came for a wedding in Lagos so he’s been here for two days…(I haven’t heard the last about Lagos traffic since btw)

About to leave town this morning and he woke my Sister and I up early to pray…(first time btw that I’m praying in monthssss)

Na so we start all the Hail Marys…our father, by the time we got to the technical prayers, na only him dey pray am, me and my sister don forget🙃😤

These are prayers that we knew like the back of our hands growing up🫥

I think this is the effect of them forcing us to cram prayer after prayer, recitation after the other…
Now I’m barely 35 and have missed Church for only about two years and I can’t remember many of these prayers.

Hmmmmn…there needs to be a new, modern approach to prayers and devotion etc…else the next generation will be completed disconnected from the church.

Anyways my 7 hours sleep was cut short to 4😭😭😭…where I wan find sleep go now🙃🙃
